U.S. presidential candidates Rand Paul, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee have dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination. Santorum has endorsed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who finished third in the Iowa Caucus and has the backing of major Republican donors.
