In a deadly start to Christmas week, a Turkish police officer assassinated Andrey Karlov, Russia’s ambassador to Turkey, and a man drove a truck through Berlin’s central Christmas market, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens more.
Additionally, a gunman opened fire in a Muslim prayer center in Zurich Switzerland, wounding three people. All three attacks occurred on Monday.
