This is not the first time that he has made headlines due to his remarks. To add to his record, one of his Tweets has landed him a criminal conviction.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks on the Paris newspaper and kosher supermarket, Mr. M’bala M’bala posted the following message in reference to the “Je Suis Charlie” slogan which was part of a campaign condemning the attacks. The message was “I feel like Charlie Coulibaly”, Coulibaly being the surname of one of the terrorists.

This has been interpreted as sympathizing with the terrorists. As a result he will now be facing jail time.[/fusion_text][/three_fourth]
