Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump picked up an endorsement Friday from a former basketball champion, a man who once wore a wedding dress and a self-appointed U.S. diplomat to North Korea.
Dennis Rodman stated on Twitter that Trump has been a great friend for many years.
“We don’t need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr. Trump! Trump 2016,” Rodman tweeted.

Trump likewise claims North Korean leader Kim Jung-un as a friend. After Rodman’s initial trip to North Korea in 2013, Trump praised the former NBA player, saying he is a “smart” man.
Trump responded to Rodman on Twitter Friday, thanking him for the endorsement.
Thank you @DennisRodman. It’s time to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain! I hope you are doing well! https://t.co/H7d2ZLmod2
